Mobile App Design

User Research Summary

The hotel industry is primed for big advances in how customers use technology to book accommodations. Fictional startup TRIPPY seeks to fill the market need for a user-friendly hotel booking mobile app.

Our research focused on how frequently and successfully frequent travelers aged 30-68 made hotel accommodations using a mobile app, identifying user frustrations and delights along the way.

Our Hypothesis

Since COVID-19, people have come to expect fast, working mobile apps to solve many problems. For example, offering mobile app contactless delivery for the restaurant and grocery industry kept sales afloat while user behavior changed.

TRIPPY has an opportunity to drive the UX UI design forward by meeting consumer needs for user-friendly hotel booking mobile apps.
